I am a wilderness trail worker in the bob marshall wilderness in northwest Montana. I love my job because I am always hiking and camping in the mountains. The city life is too stresfull for me so I prefer the small community vibe. I am just starting to travel and choose the Philippines first.
I have stayed in the philippines for 30 days but wish it would of been longer. Such a beautiful and hospitable country
When I first arrived in Manila I felt like an alien species but was calm and didn’t let the stress get to me. It was a great experence to be thrown into a foreign land where life is so much different
Comment t’es-tu senti ?
My first contact with the locals was the taxi driver from the airport and he was very friendly and asked me asked me about my plans etc. After talkin to him I felt like I could confidently do anything here because the people speak my language.
- Parlais-tu la langue locale ? Cela t-a-t-il posé des problèmes ? Et comment t’es-tu débrouillé ?
Learn a little of tagalog but didn’t need to know it to get around and do everything
- Comment tu définirais le volontariat ?
Volunteering international would be like to go to another country and help with no expectations
This trip has changed my outlook on life and I believe it will change my life’s course because of that
The world of tomorrow is a new day, new opportunity, a new chance for change and personnal growth
- Veux-tu nous partager quelque chose ? Une anecdote ?
Respect people we are so similar
